Where is our focus?

SoulFriends focus is the domain of Transpersonal Ontology. Our definition of the transpersonal, is the awareness that extends beyond the personal ego and precedes the mystical. It includes the awareness that I am more than the flesh I inhabit.
Ontology is the study of existence and the nature of being. It includes the ego and all states of beingness. It is the exploration of what we believe and how we ‘show up’ in life.

What is our guiding philosophy?

SoulFriends’ spiritual center is the Celtic concept of Anam Cara. In English, the translation for Anam Cara is 'soul friend'. In another culture, this same way of being is called Namaste, to ‘honor the spirit within another’.
It reminds us of our commitment to behold all who enter our website, and our lives, in an affirming and empowering way that awakens the mystery of their lives.

| SoulFriends is a world community of thinkers and practitioners within a paradigm of transpersonal ontology. The richness of our soulcircle at SoulFriends includes philosophers, educators, clergy, and practitioners, in the fields of human development, spirituality, religion, consciousness and psychology who help bring our awareness of our beingness into greater alignment with something beyond ourselves. It includes change agents, transformational catalysts and intentional communities that guide us on our path toward wholeness and actualization. Most of all, it includes fellow travelers who share the story of our journey. |
